Lynnia eyed him before shaking her head, a small laugh escaping her lips. "No, I never thought you would suck my blood. I trust you, though I have to admit, you scare me a little. But not in a bad way." She blushed bright red before looking away. The heat from the beating sun disappeared slowly as Lynnia stayed in the somewhat cool shadows and she sighed softly.

Jameson nodded slowly, glad. "Well, I assure you, I mean you no harm. There is no reason to be afraid of me. I swear I don't bite hard." He said jokingly. He understood why she would be afraid, considering most vampires are soulless and hunt more out of fun than hunger. He was definitely not like that. He hated hurting tings, and he avoided it as long as he could.

Lynnia laughed lightly, her face turning an even darker shade of red. "It's okay Jameson, I trust you." Her eyes twinkled softly and she couldn't help but step a tiny bit closer, though he couldn't notice. ...Or could he? Lynnia bit the inside of her cheek. Vampires did frighten her, but for some reason, he just didn't seem like the kind of guy that would suck her blood.

Being a vampire, Jameson could notice the little things. Her red cheeks, how she stepped closer, how she was nervous. It was sad that he could practically smell the emotions coming off of people, so they hardly had any privacy. Even if he tried to ignore all of these emotions, it hardly gets easier after time. "I'm glad you trust me. Now what shall we do now? Take a stroll through a park perhaps? Anything you'd like particularly?" He asked her.

Lynnia's face lit up and she nodded. "That would be great! But, you know, I would like it better if we walked around outside the town. You know, it's so noisy here." Suddenly, she raised her hand to her chest. "Oh! I'm sorry, I guess we can't because you'll get burned... I'm sorry! We can go to the park, I don't care." Lynnia but her lip, feeling embarrassed. What did he see in her to continue this coversation?

Jameson sighed. "That would be a marvelous idea, but yes, sadly, I would die. And it wouldn't be quick either. Well I suppose we could continue this in the park, if the noise won't bother you so? It is quite loud but I've learned to turn it into a dull roar, even with my heightened senses." He replied, slightly rambling. A girl has never really talked to him after they found out he was a vampire.

Lynnia nodded, taking his hand. "I'm sure I could get used to the noise as well. Noise doesn't bother me when I'm with someone that can distract me." She winked. "Lead the way Jamesie." Lynnia giggled at her new nickname for Jameson, hoping he didn't mind. [/quote]

Jameson chuckled. "Alright Lynn, off we go." He replied, giving her a nickname as well. He actually liked her real name, but if he got a nickname, she did too. He held out his arm for her to take and began walking toward the park, all the while remaining in the shade.

Lynnia slipped her arm through his, raising an eyebrow at her nickname. Her eyes sparkled with happiness. "That's actually my real birthname, you know. I wanted something more original so I just added an "i" and an "a" at the end to make it Lynnia. But, of course, you can call me whatever you want, Jamesie." Lynnia was glad they were walking in the shade, as it was a very hot day and she didn't want to die of heat when she was having such a good time.

Jameson, now "Jamesie", grinned. "Really, what a coincidence." He said softly. He chuckled as they walked through the park, under the trees.
(Couldn't be long because I have to go. Sorry.)

Lynnia laughed softly, making sure that they followed the right path and didn't stray into the sun. "Yeah." She smiled at him. "Do you have family?" It was a casual question and she hoped it didn't offend him or anything.
{Bye!}

Jameson smiled, but was caught off guard by her question. His mind was suddenly elsewhere, back to a time when he still had a mother. A memory he must have forgotten. He's around twelve, his mother around eighty. She was beautiful, young looking with blue eyes and black hair. He had gotten his eyes from her. Raiders of some sort, vampire hunters probably, break into their small castle. One of them grab Jameson mother, and the memory goes black. He must have made an effort to block it from his memory forever. His mind goes back to Lynnia. "I have a brother, but I haven't seen him for many, many years." More than she could imagine... "Do you have any family?" He asked softly.
