Jay walked into the village, following the dirt path, which was well worn by traders, merchants, travelers, and people just visiting. He wore a cocky smile on his face, thinking he was the best looking person in the little village. He walked around the little houses and shops, and came to a little stone bench. He sat down. He would wait for the girls to come to him, why should he have to walk anymore, anyway? He flipped his hair out of his eyes with the shake of his head. He should probably trim his hair a little around his eyes. It was getting so long now that he could barely see around it. Jay's werewolf form itched under his human skin. The full moon was just around the corner, and the beast inside him was scratching to get out. He tried to ignore it, and smiled.

Natasha walked along the path, ignoring the loud sound of the carts and horses. Natasha reached the village and walked past a guy with a smile as he sat down on a bench. She glanced at him and looked away before he would notice, she continued further into the village until she reached the center. She stopped for a moment and searched around for a small inn or somewhere she could stay for a few days.

Blythe walked down the streets, admiring the cobblestones and the castle in the distance. She glanced around, sighing contentedly. She was happy and bubbly, like usual, but something was different today. She could just feel it. She could also feel her inner wolf, wanting to come out in daylight, in front of everyone just to start something. Her wolf was like that, always wanting to start a fight of sorts. Blythe forced the feeling down, under her giddiness, and sat down beside a man on a stone bench. She could tell he was like her. She could smell it. "Hello, I'm Blythe." She said, holding her hand out to him.

Jay saw a girl walk past him. He knew that she was a wolf, as well, by way she smelled. He gave her a smiled and a little wave. Another girl sat down beside him. He smiled at the girl. "Hello there, I'm Jay. Nice to meet you." he responded. "And what's a pretty girl like yourself doing on this fine day?" he asked, shaking her hand. She was a wolf, as well, but she had a good energy about her. She seemed so happy. He looked the girl over. She was quite pretty, and werewolf was a bonus.

Blythe grinned. "Nice to meet you Jay." She giggled as he flirted. "Well, I was walking around the village, enjoying this weather. Now I'm sitting next to a hot guy. And what is a handsome guy like you doing just sitting here?" She asked him, not turning her full charm on him. She wanted to wait a bit, she was a little rusty, not having anyone worth flirting with for a while. Not someone like this.

Jay chuckled. "Well, at the moment, I am talking to a very pretty girl, but earlier, I was just taking a moment to relax. Had to walk all the way from my home in Redwood Forest." he said. "Care to join me on a horse back ride through the woods, cutie?" he asked. "I know a guy on the edge of the village who can lend us some horses," he said, "Or, we can just borrow one horse." he said with a smile.

Blythe smiled as he called her pretty "You live in the Redwood Forest? So do I! I wonder why I haven't seen you before. Or maybe I have..." She trailed off. "I'm pretty sure I would remember you though." She sighed, hoping she didn't sound like an airhead. She grinned again, "I think I like the idea with only the one horse." She said with a wink. .(I like our banners!)

Jay grinned, "One horse it is, then." He held out his hand for her to take, as he stood up off of the bench. "Come and ride with me, m'lady, and I shall show you the location of my humble abode." he said with a chuckle. The man who would lend them a horse for a a while was just around bend, it wouldn't take them long to get there. He flashed her a charming smile, "I haven't had a riding companion in a while." he commented.

Blythe giggled as she took his hand and stood up beside him. "Thank you, kind gentleman." She said in her best Royalty accent. She waved at a few strangers with her free hand. She waved at a lot of strangers. She knew that it makes people smile when they are waved at, and she loved making people smile. "Oh alright, off we go then, and I will show you where I live too." She said, starting off for the direction of Redwood Forest.

Jay chuckled, and walked toward the forest, and where they would get the horse from. They arrived after just a few minutes of walking. He led her inside. "Hello, friend. Would it be okay if we borrowed one of your horses for a few hours?" he asked. He looked to Blythe. "You can pick which one, if ya want." he said, as the gentleman led them into the stables, filled with horses of all different breeds. "Take your pick." the man told them, and Jay looked to Blythe once more. "Which ever one you like, m'lady." he said with a smile.

Blythe followed Jay. She hadn't gone here in a really long time. Her parents had brought her here once when she was longer, but it was quite a few years ago. She looked excitedly at Jay, then the man with the stables. "Umm.... I like the big white one." She said, unsure if it was okay with the others. She had ridden a white horse last time she was here, before her mother died.

The man nodded, and opened up the stall door, leading the horse out. "I'll get the tack." he told them, and went into another room. Jay looked at her. "Nice choice. He's gorgeous." he said, stroking the horse's nose. "Just like you." he said with a smile. The equine nickered, and then the man came back into the stables, carrying a saddle, blanket, and bridle. He put them on the horse, and patted his side. "There he is. Be careful with 'im." he told Jay, who nodded. Jay mounted the horse, and then offered his arm to pull Blythe onto the horse behind him.

Blythe nodded to the man, "Thank you," she said softly. She took Jay's hand and swung up onto the horse behind him. "You're not so bad yourself if I may say so." She wrapped her arms around his waist. "This is going to be fun." She said as she leaned her head against his back. They started off slowly toward the forest. "Your back feels pretty muscular." She said, laughing as she felt the rising and falling of his breathing.

He laughed. "Well, thank you. I try hard to keep it that way. I help the blacksmith. Keeps me fit." he said with a chuckle. Jay led the horse into the forest, and across the little bridge that allowed access across the rather narrow little river. They came to his house after about twenty minutes of riding. "Well, this is my home. Pretty boring on the outside." he said with a curt nod. His house wasn't really decorated or anything, just a medium sized log cabin, with a little brick chimney and just a few windows. The only decoration he had in his yard was the little birdbath that had been his grandmother's.

Blythe nodded as she sat up. "What do you do with the blacksmith?" She asked kindly. "I think your house looks comfy. It looks like a marvelous cabin." Her own house was probably smaller than this. "Well let's see what it looks like on the inside, shall we?" She asked, not wanting to be intrusive in any way.
