Jay smiled and kissed her back. "How about, we go back to my house, and I'll make some tea and cake?" he suggested. He kissed her again and grinned. "I love you." he told her once more, which would not be the last time, that was for sure.

Blythe nodded. "Works for me! I love tea and cake. And your house. And of course, you! I love you with all my heart!!" She replied as she tackled him in a great big bear hug. Or wolf hug. She jumped on his back, wrapping her arms around him and showering him with kisses.

Jay laughed, and carried her back toward his house, his arms supporting her legs. "What kind of cake would you like, love?" [/img] he asked with a smiled. He thought for a moment. "I could make carrot cake, or vanilla. You're choice."

Blythe thought for a minute, resting her head on Jay's. "I like carrot. It's too hard... I love all cake! But cake could never even compare to you on my scale of love." She wasn't sure if she should really tell him how much she loved him, considering the only other person she truly loved turned around and hurt her. She decided she would take the chance. It seemed he really loved her, and she really loved him.

Jay smiled and nodded. "Carrot it is then." he said with a chuckle. "Oh, but I'm not as good as cake, now, am I?" he asked her with a soft laugh. He tipped his head up to kiss her chin, and continued walking. They reached his house after about half an hour of walking. He set her down by the front door. "Here we are." he said, kissing he lovingly once she was on the ground. He kissed her neck softly, then her lips again, and whispered in her ear, "I love you." Opening the door, he followed her inside, and headed toward the kitchen. He opened the pantry door, and took out the ingredients that he would need for the cake, and set them on the counter, squatting down to get a pot from the little wooden rack on the floor.

Blythe giggled. "Of course you are a million times better than cake!!! I love you way more than cake! You are now my everything!" She replied earnestly, accepting his kiss. "I love you too." She said to him, sitting on the counter so she could watch him make cake.

Jay chuckled, chopping up a few carrots, and an apple to put in the cake. The apple just gave it a special taste. His grandmother had taught him that. He knew how to cook most anything you threw at him. All of his dishes had a special flavor in them, that made them stand out from other's. He mixed together the ingredients and set the pan over the fire that he had lit in the fireplace. He turned back to her, and put his arms around her waist where she sat on the counter, kissing her. "It'll be done in a while." he told her. "Now, I'll get the tea going." he said with a smile, and headed back to the kitchen to make his tea.

Blythe smiled as he made her cake. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him again. "Aww, don't leave yet!" She said as she quickly followed him. She wrapped her arms around him again and kissed him. "I love you." She murmured against his lips.

Jay chuckled lightly as she followed him into the kitchen and hugged him again. He kissed her again, and smiled down at her. "I think the tea can wait a few minutes." he said with a grin and kissed her again, picking her up and setting her on the counter again. "I love you, too. And I will, forever. I promise." he replied, honestly. He kissed her once more.

Blythe blushed, kissing him back. "Fine with me. We may as well wait to make the tea until the cake is done." She said, wrapping her legs around his waist, her arms around his neck. It was another one of those moments where she wanted to be as close as possible. "I'll love you forever too. With all my heart, till the end of time." She really meant it.

Jay smiled back at her. "Sounds reasonable. Perfectly fine with me." he said and kissed her again, and again, and grinned at her. "You are so beautiful." he told her, his arms circling her waist, where they had been before. He smiled and rested his chin on the top of her head for a moment, just taking it all in. "Forever." he said again, in a whisper, and kissed her forehead, and chuckled softly. "That's gonna be a while. We are werewolves..." he said with a grin. "Just means we'll have more time together." he said with a nod, and kissed her yet again.

Blythe looked at him then. "That won't be a problem, will it?" She asked innocently, batting her eyelashes. "We are werewolves. So we could be together for an eternity. I hope that isn't too long for you." She said, starting to get self-conscious. This usually always happened. Someone would get sick of her and kick her to the curb, breaking her little heart.

Jay smiled softly at her. "Not a problem at all." he said. He shook his head. "Oh, that's not my problem, love." he said with a content sigh, and another shake of his head, pulling her off of the counter and carrying her to the couch, where he put her down and sat beside her. He kissed her lovingly. "That's not long enough." he said, and pulled her close, his arms around her, his head resting on her's.

Blythe nodded softly. "Good. It's not long enough for me either. It just seems even one day is enough for most people. Even my own mother couldn't stand me for a week." She said bitterly. The tears already rolling down her face. "She had tried to kill me many times. I just wouldn't die. It took them five years before everyone else started noticing the scars." She cried softly, her voice cracking. She hadn't brought that up with anyone. Ever. But she decided she may as well tell Jay her horrifying past.

Jay brushed away the tears with a gentle hand, and kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry, love. I won't let anyone hurt you again." he told her in a very soft tone. He ran his fingers through her hair, kissing her cheek every once in a while. "Please don't cry. I hate seeing you upset." he said quietly, wiping away a few more tears that were falling down her cheek. "I made a promise to you that I would love you forever, and I never break my promises. I will always be here for you." he told her truthfully. Jay was never one to break a promise. His father had broken so many when Jay was a child, that he had vowed to never be like his father had been. He was different.
